Pressure Forming

Pressure forming is a thermoforming method that can achieve the high quality, detailed look of injection molding with relatively inexpensive tools. By using air pressures up to 90 PSI in addition to vacuum, pressure formed parts are produced with fine details that are difficult or impossible to complete using the vacuum forming method.  Parts produced by this process can illustrate rich textures, undercuts, numbers and letters and other intricate details.

Pressure forming can be used for projects like:

• industrial applications
• equipment enclosures
• bezels
• large part applications 

We frequently use materials such as ABS, Polycarbonate, Acrylic PVC, and other thermoplastic materials.

The finished product will have tight tolerances and the result will deliver a product with the cosmetic look you need with lower tooling costs and shorter lead times.
